In the open call for the second edition of the UrbanLab Gdynia Urban Competence Program, 17 valid applications were submitted online. The Commission – in accordance with the recruitment regulations – evaluating motivation, previous social involvement and ideas for the city in the area of adaptation to climate change in Gdynia described by the candidates and the candidates in the forms, qualified 16 people for the next edition of the UrbanLab Gdynia City Competence Program.

Classes under the Program will be held online in the summer, and during the meetings Participants and Participants will learn about the principles of cooperation and co-determination in the city, design thinking and service design methods and work on innovation projects based on submitted ideas for the city.
The UrbanLab Gdynia Urban Competence Program is a program of knowledge about the city in the form of workshops and meetings devoted to modern ways of city management, participation and creation of urban social innovations. The aim of the second edition of the program is to broaden the competences of residents and residents, future leaders and women leaders of social changes for adaptation to climate change in the city, as well as to better understand the needs of Gdynia residents and women in Gdynia and create even more effective tools for cooperation.
The Urban Competence Program is part of the project “Adaptation of the Urban Lab Concept in Gdynia” implemented under the Technical Assistance Operational Program for 2014-2020, co-financed by the Cohesion Fund.
